Wooden and classic boat enthusiasts will want to sit back and take a look at Director Alexis Andrews fascinating video trailer for his upcoming movie Vanishing Sail. The documentary tells the incredible story of wooden boat building in the West Indies from the start in the early 19^th century when Scottish settlers introduced the skills.

Shot in Carriacou in the Grenadines, the beautiful dramatic sailing scenes, interviews with old Caribbean Sea Captains and old archival footage of Vanishing Sail seek to stimulate interest to help revive the art of wooden boat building.

This makes us want to go for a sail!

BTM attends 2012 VA Charter Boat Workshop

We attended the 2012 VA Charter Boat Workshop at Virginia Institute of Marine Science at William and Mary in preparation for an exciting new venture with BTM. We were also able to speak about online marketing and the use of WordPress sites for easy content management for busy marine industry professionals. Thanks Susanna Musick, Diana Roberts and all those who made this event a very informative and excellent session for us.
